Hey! I'm Seif Zakaria. I'm a full-stack developer based in Cairo, Egypt who ships fast and obsesses over the details. I lead the AI & Resonance committee at Microsoft Student Partners ASU, mentor developers, and build with Next.js daily. My background in leading HR teams gave me something most engineers lack: the ability to truly understand what users need before writing a single line of code. Completed a 2-week internship at CIB, one of Egypt's top-tier banks.
Gained solid experience in banking operations, financial systems, and risk strategy, while refining professional communication and critical thinking in a corporate setting.

Full Stack Intern @ DEPI
Spent 6 months with the Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative as a Full Stack Web Developer, building and refining React web applications with the MERN stack.
Strengthened my core skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git/GitHub, while picking up TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and Bootstrap. Gained practical exposure to backend development with Node.js and Express, plus a solid intro to containerization using Docker.
Beyond coding, learned UI/UX design principles, code quality practices, documentation workflows, and unit testing; all the stuff that turns code into a maintainable product.
Wrapped up with a capstone project: Convo, a full-stack real-time chat application built from scratch using React and Node.js. It pulled together everything I’d learned into a production-grade, working product, a hands-on challenge that shaped the way I now approach development.

I Built a Pipe Organ Synthesizer From Scratch Because Egypt Has None
No samples. No soundfonts. Just sine waves, additive synthesis, and a borderline obsessive deep-dive into acoustic physics, building a real-time pipe organ synthesizer in Python modeled after the St. Johannis-Harvestehude organ because the instrument I love most barely exists in my country.
I Built a Developmental Editor for Fiction Because AI Couldn't Read My Manuscript
I was deep in Tesseract, building an empathic writing environment, when I hit a wall: every time I asked an AI to preview my fiction draft, it handed me a participation trophy. So I built The Manuscript — a full creative writing suite with seven specialized sub-skills, from continuity tracking to query letter writing.

A proposal for a local-first Markdown editor that uses real-time Sentiment Analysis to dynamically adjust its AI assistant's persona, featuring a multi-agent debate system ('The Council') and personalized memory recall.
